Andre Galvao e i fratelli Mendes a caccia di giovani talenti in altre accademie - Andre Galvao and the Mendes bro hunting for young talents in other academies

Dan Lukehart ha scritto questo sul suo profilo Facebook: "Galvao non ha problemi ad attrarre i migliori talenti a San Diego senza farla risultare un esca ingannevole tramite la tattica della "sponsorizzazione" rivolta a giovani instagramers quindicenni affamati. L'AOJJ messaggia giovani talenti su instagram e gli offre delle sponsorizzazioni ... ma quando si incontrano per maggiori dettagli gli spiegano che li sponsorizzano solo se si allenano alla AOJJ. Solo un modo per fare del bracconaggio con gli allievi migliori. Hanno fatto cose del genere per un po' e praticamente tutti gli allenatori della zona sono abituati a questo... ma questo sistema ha infastidito alcuni grandi allenatori che hanno portato la faccenda di dominio pubblico sui social media." 

Rafael Gordinho Lima è uno di questi e ha scritto: "La mancanza di etica, la mancanza di competenza per formare i loro campioni (?!) e, cosa più importante, la mancanza di VIRILITA' di questi fratelli Mendes sta oltrepassando il limite. È noto che sollecitano esplicitamente giovani talenti a lasciare le loro accademie e unirsi a loro. Lo sanno tutti. Ma ora stanno usando un modo ancora più deplorevole: offrono una "sponsorizzazione" e poi quando l'atleta chiede i dettagli, il loro "socio in affari" arriva e dice che la sponsorizzazione è applicabile solo se si allenano con i fratelli Mendes. Non sono nemmeno abbastanza uomini da fare tutto a loro nome! E lo stanno facendo con i ragazzini e con i figli e le figlie dei loro maestri. Maestri che gli hanno insegnato non solo le tecniche per essere campioni, ma gli hanno insegnato ad avere carattere. La situazione è questa: questo tipo di comportamento nel luogo da cui provengo odora di sangue ... questo è il mio primo ed ultimo avvertimento: state lontani dagli allievi di altre persone. E se vuoi dire o fare qualcosa al riguardo, il mio posto è conosciuto e sarà un piacere avervi da noi. Ma ne dubito perché i Topi saranno sempre dei Topi..."

"La situazione sta andando fuori controllo! Essere bravo sul tatami e campione non significa che tu abbia il diritto di fare cose del genere ... perché non formare i propri atleti con il duro lavoro?" si chiede un istruttore, e un altro gli risponde: "Semplice. E' più facile rubarli. Perché passare anni a formare un'allievo quando puoi rubarlo? Quei maestri che stanno facendo questo potranno raccogliere i frutti oggi, ma dovranno affrontare lo stesso destino più tardi." 

Dan Lukehart write today on his FB page: "Galvao has no trouble attracting top talent to SD without resulting to deceptive bait and switch "gi sponsorship" tactics to attention hungry 15 year old instagramers. 🤔. AOJJ has a shell gi company message talented youngsters on instagram offering gi sponsorship to them...but when they meet for more details its only if they train at AOJJ. Just a way of poaching top students. They have been doing stuff like this for a while and pretty much every coach in the area is used to/aware of it...but this particular one set off some big name coaches and they took to social media."
 

One of them Rafael Gordinho Lima writes: "the lack of ethics, lack of competence to make their own champions and more importantly, the lack of MANHOOD of this Mendes brothers is getting in a different level. Is it known that they explicitly solicit talented and champions young men and women to leave their teams and join them. It is notorious. But they are now using an even more deplorable way: they offer a “gi sponsorship” and then when the athlete asks details, their “business partner” comes and says that the sponsorship is only applicable if they train with the Mendes brothers. They are not even Man enough to do the whole thing in their name! And they are doing that with kids that are pretty much being raised and son’s and daughters by their Professors. Professors that taught them not only techniques to be champions but taught them character. Here is the deal: this kind of behavior from the place I come from smells like blood... this is my first ans last warning: stay away from other people’s students. And if you want to say or do something about it, my place is known and it will be a pleasure to have you come by. But I doubt it because Rats will be Rats..."

One instructor  commented: "I have been telling you... it is getting out of control! Being great in the mats and a champion does not mean you have the right to do things like that.... why not making their own athletes with hard work?" Another instructor answered him :"Easier to steal. Why spend years nurturing a student. When you can steal one."
