La chiamano evoluzione, ma non si tratterà solo di adattamento alle regole?

Ci sono delle tecniche che bisogna studiare per vincere nelle competizioni IBJJF e sono: Double guard pull, 50/50, Worm guard, Berimbolo. Tutte queste tecniche sono state usate abbondantemente al recente mondiale IBJJF.

Il risultato è stato quello di assistere a molti incontri in cui a prevalere è stato molto tatticismo e Intrecci di gambe e di baveri. Se ci annoiamo noi a guardare questi incontri immaginate chi non ha mai praticato jiu jitsu in vita sua! 

La gente non capisce che tipo di combattimento sia quando vede due persone che si corrono incontro, si siedono e passano 5 minuti nel tentativo di passare dietro all'avversario con il sedere per aria. Saranno pure tecniche efficaci ma non sono né belle a vedersi né facili da spiegare ai non adetti ai lavori.

Probabilmente imparare, e insegnare queste tecniche, è necessario per vincere nei tornei con regolamento IBJJF ma sta di fatto che per le MMA e per il Grappling queste tecniche servono a poco.

Per favore consentite alle nere di fare tutte le finalizzazioni così spariranno come nebbia al sole tutte questi intrecci di gambe e culate volanti e magari assiteremo ad una vera l'evoluzione dell'arte.

From an insider point of view I found just few fights really interesting and I watch a lot of them.

Interlaced legs, lapels everywhere, butts in the air ... people do not understand what these athletes are doing, and we find hard to explain it to them. I do not know if we need to learn and teach these techniques to avoid being stuck in the stone age the fact is that for MMA and Grappling these techniques are usefulness, and the same happen with different rules. 

Please let them to do all the submissions and all these techniques will disappear like mist in the sun and maybe we will see a real evolution of the art.
