La guardia a farfalla non è fuori moda - The butterfly Guard is not outdated

Alla fine degli anni novanti e nei primi anni del duemila la guardia a farfalla era la regina incontrastata nei campionati brasiliani, la guardia a farfalla era la guardia aperta per antonomasia.

Oggi non si vede molto ma quando  atleti come Rodolfo Vieira la usano in competizione è sempre un piacere rivederla in azione. Quando una tecnica funziona non ci sono mode che tengano si tratta solo di allenarle e usarle al MOMENTO OPPORTUNO.
 

At the end of the nineties and the early years of the new millennium the butterfly guard was the undisputed queen of the Brazilian championships: the butterfly guard was the open guard by definition.
