Grips, Grunts, and Groans è il primo corto del trio comico americano degli Stooges e risale al 1937. The Three Stooges (i tre marmittoni): Curly, Larry e Moe diventano allenatori di "Bustoff", un campione di lotta. Il boss ha scommesso un sacco di soldi su Bustoff e ordina ai ragazzi di prendersi cura di lui ma questi accidentalmente lo mettono KO.
Curly si deve travestire come Bustoff e lottare al suo posto. L'incontro non va molto bene fino a quando Curly annusa il profumo "Giacinto selvaggio" di una signora a bordo ring. Questo lo fa impazzire e così mette KO il suo avversario e la metà delle persone nello stadio.

Grips, Grunts, and Groans is the first stooge short of 1937. The Three Stooges: Curly, Larry and Moe become trainers of "Bustoff", a champion wrestler. The big boss has a lot of money bet on Bustoff and orders the boys to take good care of him. Instead they accidentally knock him out and Curly must disguises himself as Bustoff and wrestle in his place. The match doesn't go very well until Curly smells "Wild Hyacinth" perfume on a lady fan at ringside. This drives him crazy and he knocks out his opponent and half the people in the stadium.
