Il Rio Grappling Club conquista il primo posto all' European No Gi Jiu-Jitsu Championship a Roma

"Rio Grappling Club today won the first place at the No Gi European Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Rome. We came with 74 athletes and put 111 points ahead of Gracie Barra which brought 2 more athletes than us.

Checkmat came third but proportionally they did a lot better than GB as they brought 45 people and won many golds at the black belt adult, and came very close, almost taking the second place.

Another special mention goes to Frontline which came with 25 athletes and had great results, same can be said to Crazy Team which did very well with quite a small team and many wins.

Comp was amazing, 835 people fought this weekend in the biggest No Gi comp ever held at the Old Continent. Congratulations also to IBJJF and UIJJ, great organisation and good refereeing.

We are looking forward to bring together a bigger and better team in 2018! Big effort from our coaches and students."
