Roger Gracie è uno dei più grandi campioni di tutti i tempi nel jiu jitsu brasiliano e ha fatto la storia in questo sport conquistando 10 titoli mondiali IBJJF da cintura nera - due dei quali negli assoluti.

Il progetto sarà lanciato questo mese e offrirà ai suoi membri indicazioni su cosa ha reso Roger un prolifico specialista nelle finalizzazioni e un artista nelle fughe.

Il sito sarà caratterizzato da una biblioteca crescente di tecniche, le sessioni di sparring dalla sua accademia nel Regno Unito e un curriculum dedicato all'auto-difesa 'vecchia scuola' curato da suo padre Maurício Gomes, che ha ricevuto la sua cintura nera dal leggendario Rolls Gracie.

Per omaggiare Roger Gracie ho realizzato questo highlights tratto dal dvd "Roger Gracie Grapple: The Way of a Jiu-Jitsu Champion". Ho usato la stessa musica epica che caratterizzò il mio primo highlight, il tema principale della colonna sonora del film L'ultimo dei Moicani".

The project is set to launch this month and offering members insight into what made him such a prolific submission specialist and escape artist.

The website will feature a growing library of techniques from Roger, as well as rolling sessions from his UK academy. On top of that, Roger Gracie TV will include a self-defence and ‘old school’ curriculum with his father Maurício Gomes, who received his black belt from the legendary Rolls Gracie.

“I believe you need to make yourself hard to submit, and always look to finish fights by submission”, Gracie explained. “My whole game is based around these two principles, and these are the principles I want to promote with Roger Gracie TV. We’ve filmed a lot of content already and we’ll be adding new videos all the time, so I hope people enjoy my techniques and my approach to becoming a better fighter.” – Roger Gracie

To pay tribute to Roger Gracie I realized this highlights drawn from  "Roger Gracie Grapple: The Way of Jiu-Jitsu Champion" dvd. I used the same epic music that characterized my first highlight, the main theme of   "The Last of the Mohicans" soundtrack.
